对于现场比较灵活的英语问答，必须要充分准备，才能在复试现场灵活应对。

（一）不打无准备的仗

所谓“巧妇难为无米之炊”，想在考场上应付自如，心中必须有料才行。在复试之前，要为面试做充分的准备，首先就是准备常见的问题的回答方式。

第一类问题是普遍问题，如What’s your plan for thedoctoralstudy?或Why do you choose to study at our institute/university?等。如果是跨专业的考生，极有可能会被问到Why do you change your major?或Why do you choose this major?。对于这类问题，回答时一定要意方式，回答不要过于简单，一定要注意结合自己和学校的实际情况。

第二类问题是专业知识。考生需要了解专业知识的热点和导师研究方向。考博面试中对专业知识的考察更灵活，考生一定要避免就事论事，仅仅局限于事件本身，也不能空谈理论，而是要注意将理论与实践结合起来，用理论来指导实践，避免纸上谈兵。

第三类问题是对社会热点的评论。

就以上易考问题，提前可准备好关键词及表达底稿。

（二）打磨自己的口语

很多考生不敢开口说，担心自己的发音不标准，甚至带有严重的口音。怎样尽量去避免呢？

首先，把自己准备好的问题的回答以录音的形式读一遍。然后，自己根据录音，一遍遍地练习。可以尽量降低速度，把单词或句子说清楚，要注意语音语调。另外，在练习的时候，要学会借助自己的身体语言，比如手势或表情，这样可以缓解紧张，也可以让自己的表达更加清楚。

其次，可选取经典原声英文一遍遍地跟读，纠正发音，尽量让自己的发音更加清楚。

（三）复试现场回答问题要有条理

回答问题条理分明，言简意赅，一定不要语无伦次，拖拖拉拉。

首先，根据试题，先找出一个“论点”，然后来组织“论据”，最后进行总结。简单的来说，流程如下：论题的中心论点。第一、……，例如，……。第二、……，例如，……。第三，……。总之(总结)……。

中心论点要通过自己的仔细思考提出来，要觉得有话可说，否则冷场很尴尬。考生还要注意，“三段式”的回答务必要简洁，尽量用一句话说清楚，不要有长篇的细节解释，言多必失。
