细节题: (2014年 text4) While these measures would be welcome in the short term, we must face up to the fact that the existing £4.5bn programme of grants to fund new affordable housing, set to expire in 2015, is unlikely to be extended beyond then.
40. The author believes that after 2015,the government may______.
[A]implement more policies to support housing
[B]review the need for large-scale public grants
[C]renew the affordable housing grants programme
[D]stop generous funding to the housing sector
(2019 Text2) State governments are well accustomed to managing forests, but traditionally they’ve focused on wildlife, watersheds and opportunities for recreation. Only recently have they come to see the vital part forests will have to play in storing carbon. California’s plan, which is expected to be finalized by the governor next year, should serve as a model.
30. The author’s attitude to California’s plan can best be described as ______.
[A] ambiguous [B] tolerant [C] supportive [D] cautious
California’s plan, which is expected to be finalized by the governor next year, should serve as a model,抓住干就是California’s plan should serve as a model,model表示“模范”,态度积极,所以选定C选项。
